TBRI Training for Caregivers - Dallas County

This FREE training provided by the Initiative for Vulnerable Children at Saddleback Church (LA, CA) is perfect for parents, counselors, social workers, teachers, foster/adoptive parents and their care teams, and church volunteers who may serve children who have experienced trauma. This training combines TBRI and biblical principles to equip caregivers with the necessary education and tools to care and serve children from hard places well. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

What is TBRI®? Trust Based Relational Intervention, most commonly referenced as , is designed to meet the complex needs of children who have experienced adversity, early harm, toxic stress, and/or trauma. Because of their histories, it is often difficult for these children to trust the loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing behaviors. TBRI® offers practical tools for parents, caregivers, teachers, or anyone who works with children, to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach his highest potential.
